Here at Crocodilla we install and maintain driveway gates within approximately a two-hour drive from our base in Romsey, Hampshire. Our dedicated team have the expertise to work with you or your builder to arrange supply only gates and fencing. We can work off plan or we can help you configure a new installation for an entirely new opening and advise on placement of electric provision.
We can supply posts for self-installation to go with your gates. We will help you select the panel style suitability for the size of your project and the elevation. We do not supply automation and safety but can discuss whether the option you propose is compatible with the gate panel.
When Crocodilla specify supply only gates or fencing, we take a 50% deposit of the order value and produce a CAD drawing for you to do a final check of measurements on site, check the panel and the colour and sign the CAD for manufacture. We keep you informed of the anticipated delivery date and when we have received your gate, we take the balance and arrange our own onward delivery. This is very important if you are in a location that is not accessible for a large lorry or coupled lorry, or you need liaison with the delivery date and time. Crocodilla have given technical assistance to end users and their builders at the time of installation.
Kostum gates are made bespoke for every client. They can be very useful when the opening is an awkward size for an off the peg product as there isn’t the requirement to pack out the extra width.
The Kostum ‘portillon’ is hugely popular when ordered with a pair of driveway gates.
Many clients seeking an aluminium pedestrian gate will only find imports of lesser quality from the far East. Most off the peg pedestrian gates would have a width of 900/1000/1100 or 1200mm. With heights from 1000,1200,1400,1600, 1800 or 2000mm. Kostum are truly unique in being able to supply a single leaf at 2500x1750mm in many of their panel styles.

We have successfully provided many customers with supply only gates and fencing. The fencing comes conveniently packed in sections to match the CAD drawing making installation quick and easy.
Most of the gate styles offered in the Kostum range have a matching or complimentary fence panel. These are usually not complete ‘fencing panels’ but a process of setting the posts which have U shaped guides and the fence is built up a slat at a time. Either by specially shaped interlocking slats for a closed boarded fence or with purpose made, powder-coated packers to create the gap between slats.
We can guide you through the types of post for in-ground or to prepared concrete pads or even sited on a wall.

We have an experienced team of surveyors and installers. Please email us with your location and a brief description of what you want to achieve along with an idea of the opening size and if you need new posts or brick piers, we can very easily email you back with a budget indication.
Once we have contacted you to let you know we have received your request, if you are able to email, text or WhatsApp some images of the driveway opening to the contact you are given we can be fairly precise, pre-survey with what we can offer. Once you have a budget indication we will come out and do a full survey and let you know what you may have to undertake prior to installation.
